Who I am
I am Javed Akhter, a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) with more than 30 years of experience in finance. My career has included financial control, financial reporting under IFRS, budgeting, business partnering and senior finance leadership roles in large industrial groups. Over these years I have built many financial models, from monthly reporting tools to complex models for large companies.

Why I built this website
Many finance teams spend hours building the same calculations again and again, often in spreadsheets that are hard to check. I wanted to share tools that are:

- Transparent: you can see how each number is calculated.
- Easy to use: each input and each result is explained in plain words.
- Practical: built for real work, such as year-end reporting, audits, budgets and business decisions.
